Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist* to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children, providing essential speech therapy services to support their communication and language development. This role requires a strong understanding of early intervention strategies and the ability to assess and treat various speech and language disorders in a pediatric setting.

*Strong clinical fellows will be considered. Supervisors will provide on site mentorship and supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on early intervention strategies.
  • Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve patients' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to families regarding speech and language development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with medical standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred; familiarity with early intervention practices is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of speech therapy.
