Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Support in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol auto industry locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact positively with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, where you will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation while always acting with integrity and putting people first.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees as needed.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and/or local authorities as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
