About us

Truck Stuff is a thriving local business in Wichita, Ks. We have a large showroom floor and 4 installation bays to offer installation on any item we sell. We are looking for the right team member to add to our growing family.

Responsibilities:

- Install various automotive accessories and components, including but not limited to: bed covers, steps, hitches and wiring, bumpers and grill guards, spray in bed liners, lift kits and more

- Vehicle-specific installations, ensuring proper fit and functionality

- Provide exceptional customer service during the installation process, addressing any questions or concerns

- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of installations

- Assist with heavy lifting and maneuvering of equipment or merchandise as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Conduct equipment repairs and maintenance as required

- Assist with other shop tasks when necessary

Requirements:

- Previous experience as an installer or in a related field preferred

- Strong technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems and components

- Ability to weld and perform basic equipment repairs preferred

- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor is required-Forklift experience is a plus

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for customers

- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

-A clean driving record is required (no tickets or accidents in the last 5 years; NO DUI EVER

Note: Additional training may be provided for specific installation techniques or equipment.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
