Position Expectations
This position includes working with Upper School students in grades 9th-11th with responsibility for:
Algebra 2 (2 course sections)
Algebra 2 Honors (1 section)
Study Hall (2 sections)
With our A/B alternating schedule, this includes two Algebra 2 classes and one Study Hall on Gold Days, and one Study Hall and one Algebra 2 class on Blue Days. Ample planning period time is provided.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field and be able to maintain and deliver lesson plans, assignments, and grades/progress reports. Position hours are from 8:00-4:00 each day. Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues is essential. Problem solving, flexibility, critical thinking skills, strong emotional intelligence, a sense of humor, and enthusiasm, are desirable aspects of a successful candidate.
