Job Summary

MICDS is accepting applications for a Middle School Wrestling Coach. Applicants must meet CPR and Sports First Aid requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior coaching or playing experience, enthusiasm for leading student athletes, and strong athletic and personal references.

This position is a part-time position that is not benefit eligible. However, the position can be combined with a full-time classroom teaching position-in a subject area that coincides with our current needs-in which case a very competitive and extensive benefit package will be included.

Duties Include

  • Effectively supervise, design, and help oversee practices.
  • Work with the head coach to foster team growth.
  • Reinforce program values through modeling and teaching.
  • Travel as needed for contests.
  • Be part of an off-season program
  • Work with our Head Wrestling Coach to continue to promote wrestling on our campus, which may include summer camp opportunities.
