Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a focus on fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum, promoting literacy and math skills, and supporting the overall development of pre preschool-aged children (2-3 years old).

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques and hands-on activities.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while providing guidance and support to students.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment in compliance with childcare regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or daycare setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports all learners, including those requiring early intervention or special education services.
  • Experience in teaching literacy education, math concepts, physical education, or tutoring is highly desirable.
