  1. Assists with the repair or replacement of defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.*

  2. Assists in the routine preventive maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.*

  3. Utilizes tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.*

  4. Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.*

  5. Dismantles devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.*

  6. Paints or repairs roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.*

  7. Maintains and repairs specialized equipment and machinery found in the community as assigned.*

  8. Provides grounds keeping services, such as minor landscaping tasks.*

  9. Performs general cleaning of buildings or properties.*

  10. Applies cleaning solvents, builds or repairs structures and/or wooden frameworks, and paints walls or other structural surfaces.*

  11. Installs locks, hinges, or related finish hardware.*

  12. Assists in other areas of the community as needed (i.e. driving the bus, dining).
