SUMMARY

Pay $24.00

Conducts in a safe manner, machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service. Under supervision performs work in the repair and maintenance of equipment; performs related work as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supports repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.

Performs required tasks under supervision and direction including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.

Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bi-lingual

Knowledge of hand and power tools

Some mechanical repair experience

Helpful, Positive attitude

Flexibility in working hours

Follows all safety rules and policies

Lock-Out/Tag-Out

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

Use of power and hand tools. Use of various types of production machinery, use of various types of ladders and scissor lift. Use of powered industrial trucks (requires M.C.I. training)

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Production area (Processing area). Use of ladders.

Working around equipment and machinery, manual and electric pallet jacks and forklifts.

Must be able to work in cold (less than 40 F) and hot (up to 100F) very humid environments

Exposed to machinery noise, less than 80db. Hearing protection provided upon request.

TRAINING REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED AFTER HIRE

New Associate training in M.C.I Foods, Inc. Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Control requirements regarding Food safety and acceptable employee behavior practices. Safe practices when working with power various energy sources. Lock Out training, MSDS knowledge, Use of Personal Protective Equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Constantly Stands

Occasional Walking, Bending, Twisting and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.

Constant use of Right &Left Arms

Carrying 0 lbs to 10 lbs occasional for a distance of 15ft, 30 ft. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
