Service Technician Position

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our team at North American Truck & Trailer, Inc. in Lunds, SD. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of heavy-duty trucks and trailers for our valuable customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on trucks and trailers
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles
• Troubleshoot and repair engine and transmission issues
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve complex technical problems
• Ensure all repairs and services are performed efficiently and meet quality standards
• Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours
• Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional certification in heavy truck and trailer repair preferred
• Prior experience as a Service Technician in the automotive or transportation industry
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
