Job Description

  • Performs all manual and clerical support functions related to fabrication and assembly work order release, kitting, expediting and provide current status
  • Shipping and receiving, outside vendor processing and shop floor expediting
  • Inventory Control: focus on kitting, cycle counting, performing both receipt and issuing inventory to and from stock locations.
  • Maintain and perform inventory transactions for all stockrooms including customer furnished parts, government furnished equipment, raw materials, project tools, fabrication and purchased parts.
  • Use computer systems to maintain inventory, including cycle counting
  • Produce shipping and receiving documents and accurately record location of work orders
  • May update computer systems to support customer requirements
  • Ability to communicate professionally with other support organizations and coworkers in order to effectively achieve common goals.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems
  • Ability to set priorities and follow direction based on management provided dispatch list's
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Stand and work on feet for shifts longer than 8 hours.
  • Lift, carry, and move items weighing over 50 pounds as needed.
  • Use computer systems to maintain inventory, support production.
