Pick-Up & Delivery Driver (Electric Motor Repair Shop)
We're a hands-on electric motor repair shop looking for a dependable Pick-Up & Delivery Driver. This job is perfect for someone who likes staying busy, driving locally, and working around mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.
What You'll Do:
- Pick up and deliver electric motors, parts, and supplies to customers and vendors
- Load and unload motors, pumps, gearboxes and transformers (some heavy lifting involved)
- Keep simple delivery paperwork/logs
- Talk with customers in a friendly, professional way
- Help around the shop when things are slow (cleaning, organizing, basic tasks)
- Take care of the company truck and report any issues
What We're Looking For:
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record
- Must Pass a basic medical exam for DOT
- Participate in random drug screens
- Occasional Overtime based on customer demand, including weekends/evenings
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs
- Experience securing loads of various sizes and shapes
- Shows up on time, works hard, and stays safe
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment in a repair shop environment
- Forklift experience is a must
Hours & Pay:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, with OT per customer demands
- Competitive hourly pay (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
