About this role:

As Commercial Strategy Program Manager, you'll ensure driving strategic commercial programs across 15 strategic urban markets, positioning JET as the top choice for convenience delivery. Partnering with senior stakeholders, you'll drive cross-functional initiatives, foster knowledge sharing, and ensure consistent strategies while presenting key insights to leadership.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Amsterdam office & 2 days working from home. Reporting to: Director Commercial Strategy and Planning

These are some of the key components to the position: 

  • Programme-manage complex business initiatives, ensuring deliverables are met and projects are completed on time and within scope.

  • Ensure comprehensive project planning, detailed tracking, and effective execution of initiatives that encompass various business functions and span multiple geographies

  • Build strong relationships with multiple matrix stakeholders, collaborating with teams across the organisation to drive successful project outcomes;

  • Engage with senior leaders, effectively managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of project progress and strategic recommendations;

  • Support the Global Head of Commercial Strategy in setting and executing the strategic agenda

  • Develop and deliver effective presentations to senior stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with the global sales department to understand business goals, strategies and priorities

  • Manage well-defined projects with key business impact, ensuring alignment with JET's overarching strategy;

  • Apply a problem-solving mindset to manage projects, incorporating analytics and data-driven insights to inform key decisions.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Proven experience in a strategy or advisory, or PMO role (e.g., consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, Chief of Staff, or go-to-market role).

  • Experience in advising executive leaders on strategy, commercial, and operations topics

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced tech environment, a plus (but not needed), the food-delivery industry or a marketplace e-commerce business

  • Strong understanding of the market landscapes, consumer behaviour, and local business dynamics

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions

  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to structure program delivery within a framework that clearly augments financial and operational goals

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding set targets and KPIs

  • Excellent stakeholder management, able to confidently communicate with JET employees from management to agent and courier levels

  • A positive can-do attitude and a good sense of pragmatism, being able to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is needed to get a job done

  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines, highly organised, energetic

  • Experience in Tableau, Salesforce and Jira are a plus
