Handyman / Maintenance Technician

Location: High Point, NC

Reports To: Chief of Staff

Travel Required: Yes – Regular travel to all Go-Forth buildings and facilities

Position Summary

The Handyman is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across all Go-Forth Home Service properties. This position plays a key role in maintaining buildings, vehicles, and equipment, while also supporting various departments including Wildlife, Termite, Christmas Lights, and Attic Insulation. The ideal candidate is skilled with tools, knowledgeable in general maintenance practices, and willing to travel as needed to assist multiple branch locations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, construction, or building repair preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders, lifts, and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between company branches.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or with a team.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing hands-on work indoors and outdoors.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
