Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality beverages and excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to customer satisfaction will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation areas.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or the café industry is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
