Job Overview
Multiple Independent Used Vehicle dealerships in the Raleigh and surrounding markets are seeking dynamic, energetic and experienced General Sales Managers with in depth F&I experience to lead their sales teams These positions require strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of automotive retail sales, and the ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies. The ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, ability to structure deals, appraise vehicles and proficient with DMS and CRM software. As a key member of the management team, the General Sales Manager will oversee daily sales operations, manage inventory, and maintain a "TEAM" atmosphere to maximize sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Direct and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental results.
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation through vehicle delivery.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer activity, manage sales data, and lead sources.
- Conduct regular training sales meetings and training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, negotiation skills, and customer service excellence.
- Manage inventory and dispose of aged inventory in a timely manner to ensure product availability aligns with customer demand.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales management within the retail automobile, segment.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals effectively.
- Proficiency with DMS and CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
