Duties

  • Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver products across designated routes
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
  • Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
  • Verify delivery details, complete necessary paperwork, and obtain signatures upon successful drop-offs
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift
  • Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory movement or organizing shipments when needed

Experience

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy lifting and moving items
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including heavy lifting and moving cargo safely
  • Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable
