Intake Specialist Salary $55,000–$60,000 + On-Call Pay

Overview

We are seeking an Intake Specialist to support referral management, coordinate closely with Intake Services, and partner with Marketing to strengthen external relationships. This position is not entry level; it requires a proactive professional with strong critical thinking skills and relevant healthcare experience. Home Health experience is helpful but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage assigned referral sources and provide consistent, high quality customer service.

Coordinate with Intake Services to ensure timely and accurate referral processing.

Partner with Marketing to support outreach strategies and maintain strong partner engagement.

Monitor referral trends and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance.

Maintain accurate documentation and support communication across departments.

Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, intake, referral coordination, or account management.

Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.

Experience with EMR systems preferred.
