Custodian / Facilities Team Member
Location: Marotta Controls – Parsippany, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time on-site| Monday–Friday | Overtime as needed
Are you looking to join a team where your work truly matters? Marotta Controls is seeking a dedicated Custodian / Facilities Team Member to help maintain our facility's cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. You'll play a key role in keeping our workspaces clean and functional—from our offices to production areas, labs, and more.
What You'll Do:
- Clean and maintain floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and restrooms
- Restock supplies in restrooms, break areas, and photocopiers
- Safely use vacuums, mops, scrubbing and buffing machines
- Support the Facilities Team with projects like furniture moves, assembly, and seasonal tasks
- Help with outdoor maintenance, snow removal, and off-hour facility work
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for all
- High School diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of custodial/janitorial experience (manufacturing setting preferred)
- Valid driver's license & US citizenship (required)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Familiarity with safety protocols and cleaning product instructions
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)

This position is at our Parsippany, NJ corporate offices location.
Pay Range: $ $27.00/hour
