Job Description

As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Rounds in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities.Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the chemical or petrochemical environment.Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and first responders as needed.Document incidents and daily activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal standards.Remain alert to potential hazards specific to chemical or petrochemical locations and report concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
