Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide/Nurse to provide essential support to our disabled autistic son during the night. Needs help with keeping Oxygen on, changing of bed if needed, helping to the Bathroom etc.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.

  • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Document client progress and report any changes in health status or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and organized.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Skills

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems to communicate effectively within the healthcare team.
