Your Role:

As a Security Officer Floater, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your training and experience to ensure the safety and security of a variety of sites including armed events. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patrolling: Interior and exterior foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises, providing a visible deterrent.
• Monitoring Access: Manage access for vehicles and pedestrians, ensuring that all individuals entering the premises follow protocols.
• Incident Response: Respond quickly and effectively to alarms and incidents, using your sharp observation and decision-making skills.
• Reporting: Documenting incidents with accuracy, utilizing our mobile reporting software.

You will need to maintain a strong physical presence and be ready to act in emergencies, ensuring the security of each site. Some sites will require use of your own vehicle, so your dependability and flexibility will be essential.

• Retired military personnel, former police officers, and corrections professionals with a strong background in security operations.
• Physically fit and active individuals who can stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills, honed through years of service.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially in emergency situations.
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• A Valid Massachusetts LTC.
• Open availability for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in military, law enforcement, or corrections is highly valued.
• Advanced training in areas such as First Aid, BLS, or self-defense.
• Proficiency with mobile reporting software and tech-savviness.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines related to public safety and security operations.
