We're looking for a Cloud Application Architect to join the team and work in a cloud software engineering role, working with teams to leverage and expand your client's capabilities.
You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to translate customer needs, and assist others in migration and solutioning of mission critical capabilities. You'll be responsible for working with current and new software development teams, understanding their architecture and development environment tooling to develop onboarding paths to your client's platform. You'll have expertise with multiple cloud providers, work independently while leading others, and work across development teams. You should be able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
- 8+ years of experience with system administration of Windows or Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with leading teams of operations personnel in managing existing cloud or on-prem production systems
- Experience with leading the architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms
- Experience with the monitoring, maintenance, and security of critical infrastructure components
- Knowledge of foundational system administration principles
- Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain 8570 IAT II or III Certification, including Security+ within 3 months of start date
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with leading a team of cloud professionals on projects or efforts
- Experience working with DoD RMF ATO systems requiring accreditation
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure cost forecasting and tracking
- Ability to work through challenging security requirements and maintain compliance
- AWS or Azure Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
