Description

Downtown Syracuse-based Real Estate/Development Company is looking for a candidate with strong Bookkeeping/Financial/Accounting experience to assist in the multifaceted world of Real Estate. This position is part-time, 15-20+/- hour per week employment within a boutique Real Estate Development firm offering a fast-paced, diverse, and comprehensive employment experience.

Responsibilities: Areas of Support

Accounting – responsible for weekly support of daily financial operations


•Accounts Receivables/Collections


•Accounts Payables


•Payroll Processing

Areas of support


•Vendor Management – support review contract pricing, and/or compliance


•Reporting – provide financial reporting support as needed


•Special Billings – support tenant special billing functions

Requirements


•Excellent analytic skills and proficiency in (Microsoft excel, financial analysis, and forecasting)


•Applicants will have QuickBooks experience, or work-related equivalent. Appfolio Experience a plus.


•Effective Communicator (written & oral) with well-rounded financial presentation abilities


•Must be a team player with proven ability to work effectively in teams


•Attentions to detail, the ability to multi-task are all essential to this position


•Willingness to work in a small office environment and support different areas


•BS in Accounting/Finance, OR AS in Accounting/Finance with work experience equivalent

Competitive Hourly Pay
