Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Talent Development Systems Administrator to join our Human Resources team

Job Overview:

The Talent Development Systems Administrator will enable enterprise-wide employee development by administering, optimizing and supporting Workday Talent modules and integrated learning technologies. This role focuses on system integrity, actionable insights, and digital innovation to drive strategic learning outcomes. The administrator will provide input on system strategy, support HR and business stakeholders, and apply emerging technologies such as AI.

Responsibilities:

  • System Administration & Governance:
  • Administer and maintain Workday Talent modules including Learning, Skills, Career Paths, Development Plans, Succession Planning, and Mentoring.
  • Ensure data accuracy, user access controls, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for learner issues and troubleshoot system-related inquiries.
  • Oversee the system configuration and development, security/permissions, and user administration in conjunction with the HRIS team
  • Plan, prioritize, and implement new functionalities and enhancements
  • Communicate system updates and project information to stakeholders
  • Manage content, including course loading, ILT/vILT management and curriculum development
  • Meet with stakeholders to develop learning solutions and workflows that will meet business needs.
  • Integration & Vendor Management:
  • Maintain and expand third-party integrations (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, external LMS platforms).
  • Manage relationships and logistics with external training partners, including scheduling, contracts, and performance tracking.
  • Data & Insights:
  • Research and conduct competitive intelligence. Is actively involved in local user groups and attends relevant local seminars to remain up to date on new system functionalities and best practices.
  • Create and maintain reports to monitor and review catalog, course usage, and user data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track training metrics, KPIs, and learner feedback.
  • Analyze survey data and learning trends to inform strategy and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain workflows and governance for administrative processes within the system.
  • AI Enablement & Innovation:
  • Collaborate with internal and vendor teams to identify and implement AI tools that enhance Talent Development workflows and learner experiences.
  • Apply innovative thinking and advanced technologies to design solutions that anticipate future challenges and optimize operational workflows.
  • May be called upon to handle other duties as required.

The 37.5-hour work week is scheduled from Monday through Friday, between the core hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

A hybrid schedule will be available once trained to work independently, with three days reporting to our Lincoln, RI office and two days working from home.

This role does not currently offer employment visa sponsorship.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in survey tools, dashboards, and reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with learning technologies and third-party content integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to internal customer service and responsiveness.
  • Interest or experience in AI tools and digital innovation within HR or learning environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in M365 applications, including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, Copilot.
  • Experience administering Workday or similar HCM systems, particularly Learning and Talent modules.
  • Preferred Workday pro-certified in one or more areas.
  • Familiarity with course authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
