Job Summary

Lifted Northwest's Budtenders are the frontline leaders of our dispensary team, ensuring that every customer receives an exceptional experience while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and professionalism. As a Lead Budtender, you will not only provide expert guidance on cannabis products but also support the management team by mentoring budtenders, overseeing daily store operations, and upholding company standards.

The ideal candidate is an experienced cannabis professional with excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a compliant, safe, and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with all Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) regulations.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Support training and mentorship of new and existing budtenders to ensure product knowledge, compliance, and service standards are met.
• Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Communicate effectively with management about customer feedback, team performance, and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance and safety, including verifying IDs, maintaining proper documentation, and enforcing OLCC guidelines.
• Provide exceptional phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Utilize basic math and retail analytics for inventory tracking, reporting, and sales goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cannabis or retail leadership role.
• Proven ability to mentor and train team members.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory control and sales reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must possess a valid OLCC Marijuana Worker's Permit.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
