And Here's What You need to know about the JOB:

This position is primarily responsible for performing an array of functions in the warehouse including receiving and processing incoming freight and small package supplies and materials, organizing the warehouse, rotating stock and ensuring shelves are fully stocked. This position also backs up supplies and equipment logistics teams. Position requires forklift operator certification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Unloads trucks of incoming freight and small package supplies and materials, inspecting for any damages and reporting accordingly.

Verifies inventory against company issued purchase orders and provides documentation to inventory specialist, highlighting any discrepancies or concerns.

Stores inventory in correct areas of warehouse after processing.

Keeps warehouse organized daily to ensure all product are stored properly and floors are cleared of inventory. Assists with pallet, trash, and cardboard discarding.

Rotates warehouse stock from overstock to pick shelves, ensuring shelves are fully stocked.

Identifies any low inventory concerns and brings to attention of inventory specialist.

Backs up Supplies Pick & Pack and Equipment Logistics team as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Some warehouse or related stocking/receiving experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be comfortable working on a computer.
