MarCom (Marketing & Communications) Manager

Position Reports To: Director of MarCom
Position Summary:

The Marketing & Communications Manager supports the execution of Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School's strategic marketing, branding, and communications initiatives. This role involves content creation, social media, event promotion, and internal/external communications. The manager collaborates across departments to align marketing strategies with Cristo Rey Tampa's mission, values, and institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Marketing & Branding: In collaboration with Cristo Rey Tampa leadership, develop and implement strategic enrollment and institutional marketing plans, oversee brand consistency, and optimize digital presence.
  • Content Creation: Work with the Director of MarCom to deliver impact-driven storytelling and mission-centric reports. Including writing and editing materials for the CR Tampa website, social media, newsletters, and digital advertising.
  • Project & Event Marketing: Support marketing initiatives for the school and program, recruitment efforts, and special events.
  • Collaboration & Outreach: Work schoolwide with leadership and stakeholder groups to align messaging
  • Support storytelling by collecting and sharing success stories, student/alum highlights, and staff features.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of successful communications experience required, with preference given to service in an educational or nonprofit setting.
  • Experience with photography and video editing is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; The ability to identify and resolve communications issues.
  • Maintains a high level of reliability and dependability (meets deadlines, follows through on commitments, and follows organizational procedures).
  • Ability to work independently and cross-departmentally.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with multitasking and managing high-volume tasks efficiently.
  • Passion for and deep understanding of Cristo Rey's mission and commitment to educational equity.
