As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and engaging with individuals on site to provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for navigating the property and responding promptly to situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter of the manufacturing and industrial facility to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity within the facility and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols related to access control, visitor management, and emergency response.
• Assist with emergency procedures and provide support during drills or real incidents as directed by site management or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
