We're looking for a QA Lead / Senior QA Engineerto own quality across the platform. This is a hands-on Senior QA role with leadership responsibility.

You will:

  • Own end-to-end quality strategy
  • Build and expand test automation
  • Act as the voice of quality across product and engineering
  • Help define what QA looks like at FanConnect as we grow

What You'll Do

Quality Ownership & Leadership

  • Own quality across web apps, backend APIs, and connected devices
  • Partner closely with engineering and product to shape testability early
  • Define QA standards, test plans, and release readiness criteria
  • Advocate for quality without slowing the team down

Automation & Tooling

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
  • Identify where automation provides the most leverage vs. manual testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Continuously improve test reliability and coverage

Hands-On Testing

  • Perform exploratory, regression, and integration testing
  • Test across actual venue hardware: Samsung Tizen / LG webOS TVs, BrightSign media players, etc.
  • Validate integrations with sports data feeds and POS systems
  • Help troubleshoot complex, real-world issues that only show up at scale

Mentorship & Future Team Growth

  • Mentor junior QA engineers as the team grows
  • Help define future QA roles, processes, and hiring needs
  • Lay the groundwork for a scalable QA function

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of QA or software testing experience
  • Strong experience with test automation (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, etc.)
  • Comfortable writing and maintaining automated tests in modern web stacks
  • Experience testing APIs, web apps, and integrated systems
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows
  • Excellent communication skills - you can explain risk clearly and pragmatically
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
