Entry-Level Safety Technician – Agriculture

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Schedule: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Entry-Level Safety Technician to support safety operations in agricultural worksites. Training will be provided, this is a great opportunity to start a career in workplace safety.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Must meet minimum age requirement set by the company's vehicle insurance policy (23+).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
  • Flexible and able to work in different field locations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily safety inspections and reporting
  • Support safety training sessions for field and warehouse employees
  • Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance
  • Help maintain safety documentation and incident logs
  • Communicate safety expectations to supervisors and crews
  • Report hazards or unsafe practices immediately

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
