What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas throughout the location to observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or staff to communicate security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client protocols for incident response, access control, and emergency procedures.
• Remain visible and approachable while patrolling to provide a reassuring presence and assist visitors and employees as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
