We are seeking a motivated Operations & Training Manager with strong leadership, business acumen, and healthcare operations experience to help scale our business and manage a growing network of DNA Specimen Collectors.
Position Overview
The Operations & Training Manager oversees field operations, training programs, and team performance. This role is ideal for a professional with a healthcare or lab operations background who thrives in dynamic, start-up environments and enjoys building systems, training teams, and leading with strategy and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
1. Onboarding & Training
- Recruit, onboard, and train new DNA Specimen Collectors (phlebotomists and field staff).
- Create and maintain standardized training materials and virtual modules.
- Ensure all team members follow DNA collection, HIPAA, OSHA, and chain-of-custody procedures.
2. Operations & Logistics
- Oversee scheduling, appointment assignments, and operational coordination across regions.
- Manage supply distribution and inventory tracking for field teams.
- Implement workflow improvements and digital systems for efficiency.
3. Quality & Performance Oversight
- Monitor collector performance, client feedback, and compliance.
- Develop retention strategies and maintain a positive team culture.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
4. Strategic Growth
- Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities and regional expansion strategies.
- Support marketing and community outreach efforts to attract new clients and collectors.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business management, operations, or training (healthcare industry preferred).
- Strong background in CRM management, workflow systems, or team leadership.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required (Master's preferred).
Compensation
- 10% commission on all revenue generated by the DNA Collectors you train and manage.
- Quarterly bonuses based on retention, quality, and performance metrics.
