Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and driving sales growth within your designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and a passion for building relationships with clients. You will leverage your skills in lead generation, negotiation, and customer service to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business development goals.
- Identify and qualify new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value of our offerings.
- Manage existing accounts while seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Utilize software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate records of client communications.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies for lead generation and brand promotion.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth within your territory.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products, technology sales, and industry trends to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or territory management with a focus on B2B environments.
- Strong background in account management, direct sales, or retail sales is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads through various channels including cold calling and networking events.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.
