Job Overview

if you are looking to drive for the leading intermodal company in NE Ohio give me a call. we are looking for guys or girls that wanna work. A minimum of 2 runs per day. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments and be comfortable operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, containers.This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Duties

  • Operate and drive various types of trucks including auto transmission trucks, experience container work.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight while maintaining proper weight distribution.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during the route.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
  • Previous experience with containers.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent container company to work for.
  • We run our own chassis and boxes.
