Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced
Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
specializing in
Production Support
to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
Splunk
and
Dynatrace
for monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis, along with strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    24x7 production support
    for critical business applications and infrastructure.
  • Proactively monitor system performance, stability, and capacity using
    Splunk
    and
    Dynatrace
    dashboards.
  • Analyze application and infrastructure logs to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Respond to incidents promptly, perform
    root cause analysis (RCA)
    , and implement preventive measures.
  • Create and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics in
    Dynatrace
    and
    Splunk
    .
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to enhance system reliability and automation.
  • Automate operational tasks and incident responses using
    Python / Shell scripts
    .
  • Support
    release management and deployment
    processes using
    CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab).
  • Manage and maintain infrastructure in
    AWS / Azure / GCP
    environments.
  • Participate in
    on-call rotation
    and ensure timely communication during production incidents.
  • Document incident resolutions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and runbooks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in
    Production Support / SRE / DevOps
    roles.
  • Strong experience with
    Splunk
    (log analysis, dashboard creation, alert configuration).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Dynatrace
    for application and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Solid background in
    Linux/Unix system administration
    .
  • Good knowledge of
    scripting languages
    (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Experience with
    Cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    and tools like
    Jenkins, Git, or GitLab CI
    .
  • Understanding of
    containerization
    (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
