Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in various food service environments. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
  • Support kitchen staff during busy periods, including plating and garnishing dishes
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating strong knife skills and food handling techniques
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment by collaborating with other kitchen staff
  • Assist with catering events or special functions as needed
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health department standards and restaurant policies

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the food service or restaurant industry
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
