About the Role
We're looking for a process-oriented Contracts Manager & Paralegal to build and optimize our contract operations infrastructure as we scale our healthcare data platform.
Key ResponsibilitiesContract Operations & Process Development
- Evaluate and improve the current contracting workflows and procedures
- Build contract playbooks and approval matrices to streamline deal flow
- Develop tracking systems and reporting dashboards for contract metrics
- Create training materials and best practices for cross-functional teams to drive faster time to contract execution
- Manage contract execution process from signature through renewal cycles
- Maintain contract database in Salesforce with accurate metadata and key term tracking
- Monitor contract milestones, renewals, and compliance obligations
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth contract administration
- Generate regular reports on contract performance, renewals, and key metrics
- Monitor compliance with contractual provisions and flag potential issues
- Track contract obligations and deliverables across all active agreements
- Provide data-driven insights to support business decision-making
- Review executed contracts to identify and extract key provisions, terms, and potential risk areas for legal team analysis
- Create detailed contract summaries and comparative analyses to support portfolio management and strategic decision-making
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7 years in legal operations or contract administration, preferably in healthcare technology or B2B SaaS.
- Expertise in SaaS agreements, commercial contracts, and software licensing (open-source, proprietary).
- Deep understanding of data privacy and security laws like CCPA and HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills to work with legal and non-legal teams and translate legal needs into business terms.
- Strong process improvement and design abilities.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Experience in handling multiple contracts and deadlines.
- An analytical mindset, along with attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in Salesforce.
- Knowledgeable of other contract management platforms, workflow automation tools, and data analysis methods.
- Prior paralegal experience preferred.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 annually. Actual salaries are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Our compensation ranges are designed to be competitive, equitable, and growth-oriented.
