Regional Sales Manager GENERAL FUNCTION The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, and management of a sales team in a specified region or geographical area. The regional sales manager provides ongoing support to distribute and execute Safilo's go-to-market strategy to grow Safilo's portfolio of products.Relying on superior leadership and interpersonal skills, you will personally interact with our customers and sales agents on a daily basis in order to achieve the company's significant quantitative sales targets.Your main responsibilities will be to: Manage a team that can/will include independent contractors and employees (W2) Coach sales reps, using non-directive coaching, to improve their sellingConduct frequent ride-alongs with reps to observe and coach sales skillsConduct quarterly performance/expectations reviews with each rep on your team Network, recruit, and hire new reps for open territoriesDetermine compensation for specific territories and repsOn-board new reps within your region and implement the Safilo sales processBuild synergy markets to help reps sell as a teamHelp maintain and drive additional sales in regional key accountsDevelop a territory strategy to share with director of sales and drive on a consistent basisManage and be accountable to your regional P&L and sales targets Build sales plans for assigned region incorporating commercial and brand priorities Be an engaged member of the 3O's (opticians, optometrists, and ophthalmologists) leadership team and attend mandatory meetings When needed, provide disciplinary accountability for sales agents in the regionReview and approve travel and expense reports for employees ● Spend four days per week in the fieldEssential Requirements BA/BS Degree --> BA/BS Degree or equivalent management experienceMust currently live within the region and be available for regular travel 80% of the time in the identified territory10+ years of direct sales experience in eyewear or a related industry, with proven track record of results 4 days a week in field expectedSales Force software experience is a plusStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsProven track record of delivering growth and resultsExcellent training and presentation skills ● Strong visual merchandising backgroundStrong ability to problem solve, anticipate challenges in advance, and propose solutionsAbility to embrace and follow corporate direction, especially in reference to closures and openingsStrong organizational and time management skillsHighly professional and strong fashion senseStrong business judgment and negotiation skillsTeam player with strong leadership qualitiesStrong PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointValid driver's licenseMust submit to full background check
