What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or breaches of policy according to company and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay important information and/or address concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, following established protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
