Primary Responsibilities:

  • Basic Computer skills and POS knowledge.
  • Provide excellent guest service by building good relationships and understanding and meeting the guest's needs.
  • Become an expert in the products that are made at the store and be able to make recommendations.
  • Ability to help drive sales through service.
  • Greeting guests (whether new or returning) every time they visit the store.
  • Ability to multi-task with making products and greeting/assisting guests as they shop and purchase.
  • Ability to work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast-paced environment, while upholding all company policies, procedures, and core values.
  • Growing the community's knowledge and awareness of the Buff City Soap brand.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, reach with and arms, climb, balance, twist and stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Must not be sensitive to various scents and fragrances.
  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen to the guests.
  • Must be 18 yrs old or older.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Experience:

  • Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

  • High School or equivalent (Preferred)
