Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team within a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, improving manufacturing efficiency, and supporting the development of new manufacturing methods. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial equipment and advanced engineering techniques, contributing to continuous improvement and quality assurance across our operations. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge, expertise in CAD/CAM software, knowledge of metals and CNC Machining processes, and experience with robotics and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and quality.
- Assist with customer quotes in choosing the optimal materials for production.
- Analyze drawings in CAD/CAM software.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve process flow through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process engineering projects to meet ISO 9001 standards and other quality certifications, as well as provide engineering expertise to our customer service and quality teams.
- Support factory experience activities including equipment installation, maintenance planning, and process validation.
- Assist in the design of tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes while ensuring mechanical integrity and safety standards are met.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field..
- Proven experience working within a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with hands-on involvement in process engineering or factory operations.
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD; experience with CNC programming (G-code), CAM programming, GD&T principles, and schematic design is highly desirable.
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies within a production setting.
- Knowledge of CNC Machining processes, tooling design, fabrication techniques, and metallurgy.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems using root cause analysis tools and develop innovative solutions aligned with industry standards such as ISO 9001.
