We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dish Washer / Cleaning Person to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and organizing workspaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support banquet operations by ensuring that all serving items are clean and ready for use.
• Handle food safely in accordance with health regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak service times.
• Participate in catering events by assisting with setup and breakdown of food stations.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned to maintain a hygienic environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is a plus.
• Experience in bussing tables or serving is beneficial for understanding the flow of service.
• Background in culinary arts or hospitality can enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
