Overview

We are seeking a skilled Residential Electrician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience with new construction, kitchen and bath remodels, service upgrades and residential wiring and installations.

You will work independently with the responsibility of running small projects. T

his role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and schematics, as well as possess hands-on experience with various electrical tools and equipment.

There is room to grow in this position. Must have a dependable vehicle with the ability to carry material as needed.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical issues.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to understand layout and installation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards during all work performed.
  • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
  • Perform renovation tasks that may involve frame carpentry or maintenance person duties as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an electrician in residential settings
  • Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for electrical testing.
  • Previous construction site experience is preferred, along with the ability to navigate various project phases.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience in renovation projects, new construction and customer service calls is advantageous, showcasing versatility in skills. We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about electrical work and committed to delivering high-quality service to apply for this position.

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
