Our client, a global entertainment company, is looking for a Sr. Accounting Analyst to join their team for a short-term project This will be a remote role with the team based out of Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:

  • Contract Role: 3 months
  • Pay: $65-70/hr on W2
  • Schedule: Remote, must work ET hours

Responsibilities:

  • Perform variance analysis on P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Perform quarterly financial reporting
  • Complete journal entries and account recompilations
  • Monitor and test accounting systems that interface with the general ledger
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related concentration
  • CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in both public and private accounting
  • Big Four firm experience is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities
