Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing attentive service, managing guest orders, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments through POS or cashiering systems
  • Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen procedures to ensure food safety compliance
  • Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests
  • Provide guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving concerns professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to upsell menu items through effective sales techniques
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or nightlife environments preferred
  • Familiarity with breakfast, brunch, and lunch is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
