Conduct pre-construction surveys, monitoring, and prepare monitoring reportsMaintain compliance with environmental permits and regulationsAssure that erosion and sedimentation control measures are installed and maintainedAssist with planning, developing, coordinating and ensuring the successful completion of projectsPrepare and monitor project schedules to assure successful delivery of projects on time and on budgetPrepare engineering project proposals in coordination with other engineersMake independent decisions and take responsibility for project solutionsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or universityAt least 5 years of experience as an environmental engineerRelevant environmental compliance experienceExperience in implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)Experience in technical writingRegistered Civil Engineer (PE) in the State of IllinoisStrong written, verbal, computer and organizational skillsAbility to work as a teamUS citizenshipProficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and Primavera P6, AutoCAD is a plus3.0 GPA or better requiredWHO WE ARE
