Position Summary: Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.Duties/Responsibilities:Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements Operate industrial power equipment Restock and replenish supplies, as appropriate Perform general maintenance Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures Fill in for other positions, as needed Manually lift and move product to restock and repack area, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation Use appropriate manual, or powered material handling equipment (is., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) to move product and materials from/to designated locations Assist with the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned QualificationsEducation/Experience:High-School Diploma/GED Must be 18 years of age Previous forklift experience is preferredRequired Skills/Abilities:Communication Skills Dexterity Skills Ability to operate a manual, powered pallet jack, or lift Ability to operate a forklift; Forklift experience required Ability to work with minimal supervision Problem Solving Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with coworkers and supervisor and to operate equipmentWork Environment: Works in a warehouse.
