About the Role

The company's Integrated Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in the RUST Programming Language and proven experience developing systems with RUST to guide the next generation of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Guiding adoption of RUST throughout the embedded development.
  • Managing integration or conversion of legacy software to RUST.
  • Providing best practices and architectural guidance for memory-safe usage of RUST.
  • Developing best practices and implementation guidance.
  • Translating requirements into working and maintainable solutions for our C5 and Cyber Solution Centers.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship with an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience developing RUST software with a deep understanding of the language.
  • Experience with C/C++ development and object-oriented design.

Required Skills

  • Strong (expert) RUST Software Engineer.
  • Active Secret clearance willing to work onsite 100%.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with C/C++ development and object-oriented design.
