JOB SUMMARY:

The Financial Data Analyst position involves analyzing financial data to provide insights to help the organization make informed decisions. You will provide support for the Accounting Manager and Director of Finance. You will work independently as well as cross-functionally with our Membership, Development, Fundraising and other program teams.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


•Conduct financial analysis of complex information to ensure stakeholders receive actionable insights.


•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for financial modeling and strategic planning.


•Develop financial concepts for planning and analysis, including project-tracking procedures.


•Data Collection & Analysing


•Gather financial and operational data from multiple sources (ERP systems, accounting databases, market feeds, etc.).


•Analyze revenue, expenses, profit margins, and cash flows.


•Build financial models and forecasts.


•Track KPIs.


•Data Analytics – historical trends, future forecasting, performance optimization.


•Use tools like Excel, SQL, Python, to analyze and interpret data.


•Identify trends, and offer actionable insights.


•Create dashboards and reports for management or investors.


•Translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.


•Predictive & Statistical Modeling.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:


•BA or BS in an analytical field – math, finance, accounting, computer science, econometrics preferred.


•Proficient in Excel (Power Queries, modeling, large data manipulation) and QB. Python preferred.


•QuickBooks experience.


•Strong communication and organizational skills.


•Detail oriented and able to accurately input and extract data.


•Self-driven and self-motivated


•Tech savvy (G-Suite, Microsoft Office/Outlook)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


•Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.


•Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment.


•Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, or bend.


•May need to lift and carry items up to [10–25 lbs], such as files or office supplies.


•Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients, in person and via phone or video.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $95,000.00 per year
