Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team in San Jose.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a strong foundation in CMOS analog or mixed-signal circuit design who are eager to grow their technical skills and work on next-generation integrated circuits for cutting-edge applications.

You will work closely with senior engineers and contribute to the full IC design flow — from concept and simulation to silicon validation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and development of analog and mixed-signal circuits, such as amplifiers, voltage regulators, data converters (ADC/DAC), and reference circuits.
  • Perform schematic design, simulation, and verification to ensure circuit performance meets design requirements.
  • Collaborate with digital, layout, and system engineers to integrate analog and mixed-signal blocks into full-chip designs.
  • Assist in bench validation and debugging of silicon, including measurement and data analysis.
  • Document design specifications, simulation results, and test data clearly and accurately.
  • Learn and apply advanced analog design techniques for low-power, low-noise, and high-performance applications.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on analog or mixed-signal IC design.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience (including graduate or internship experience) in analog or mixed-signal circuit design using CMOS processes.
  • Familiarity with analog building blocks such as op-amps, bandgaps, current/voltage references, and bias circuits.
  • Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics for design and simulation.
  • Understanding of key analog design principles — mismatch, linearity, stability, power efficiency, and noise optimization.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong self-motivation and willingness to learn new tools and design techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework or project experience in data converter (ADC/DAC) design.
  • Knowledge of AMS (Analog Mixed-Signal) verification methodology or memory-related circuit design.
  • Prior experience with silicon validation, lab measurement, or layout supervision is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130, $250,000.00 per year
